For over 20 years, Carol served as her 6 children's practice coach as they learned violin, viola, cello, and piano. She herself has since learned to play the bass. She established and directed the successful High Country Fiddlers for many years. This was a group of young fiddlers that practiced weekly and performed in many venues around Utah. Currently she is the accompanist and assistant director in the music group Peter Street. She enjoys reading great literature, hiking, teaching music class to her grandchildren, traveling, cooking, teaching classes on preparedness, and hosting people in her home.  She is married to Boyd Fife.
